Speed Attorney PROLOGUE AND CHAPTERS 1-4

Sonic walked through the door of the workroom, stretching his arms and yawning slightly.

"Man, why'd he call me over at this time?!" He asked himself angrily. He then saw a yellow fox laying just under a window, and he appeared to be unconscious. Cream the Rabbit was kneeling beside the kit, along with her Chao, Cheese.

"Mr. Sonic," Cream squeaked, her chestnut eyes glistening as Sonic noticed teardrops at the corner of the bunny's eyes. "Mister Tails isn't moving!"

"What?!" The hedgehog snapped, worried about his friend. He rushed over and knelt down to inspect his friend. His head was covered in maroon and cobalt patches. Sonic touched the biggest patch and noticed a red and blue liquid smothered over his fingers. If this was blood, it's still fresh.

"This..." He staggered. "T-this is... B-blood..." He slammed his fist on the floor in rage. "Someone's killed Tails!!"

"Mr. Sonic, there's something here," Cream said as she handed over a piece of off white fibres

"It's a... Shopping receipt? No wait, there's something on this." He turned the paper over to reveal the word 'Sonic' crudely wrote on it in the crimson paint. "Why is my name her--"

"HOLY MÖBIUS!" a voice screamed. Sonic looked out the open window to see a brown, female hare holding a phone in her hand. Sonic could hear her talking, but couldn't make out what exactly she was saying. Then the shutters on the hare's window slammed shut with a bang.
